Town Hall Meeting for TX Congressional District 22

A Town Hall meeting will take place tomorrow at the Golfcrest Country Club located at 2509 Country Club Dr. in Pearland, TX. The event is organized by the Tri-County Republican Women and is scheduled to start at 10:30 am. They are expecting 14 of the 15 GOP candidates to be present. They are trying to win the March 3rd primary election and have a chance at succeeding the retiring Pete Olson in the next general election in November.

Some candidates come with name recognition like Pierce Bush, grandson of George H.W. and Barbara Bush. Greg Hill, also a big name is known as a former City of Pearland councilman and current Brazoria County Court-at-Law judge. Sheriff Troy Nehls from Fort Bend County is also well known especially on the west side of the district.
