Harry Potter and Stars Wars Themes at BrazCon

Brazoria County Teen Comic Convention, AKA BrazCon,  is coming to Manvel High School on Saturday, February 15th, 2020.  This annual event is organized with collaboration from the Brazoria County Library System, Alvin ISD, and Communities in Schools-Texas Joint Venture.   A fun-filled day focused on kids 10-18 but the whole family is welcomed.  Many activities are scheduled throughout the day including Cosplay Contest, Lightsaber Workshops, Gaming, K-POP DJ Party with DJ Jeffrey and many more.  The featured guest is April Henry who is the author for Run, Hide, Fight Back & Girl, Stolen and many more.  A book signing session will take place at 2 pm.  The all-day event starts at 9 am and ends at 4 pm.  It is free as long as you have a ticket that you can get by going to this website.  The Manvel High School is located at 19601 Hwy 6, Manvel TX 77578.

Parking is free and plenty of it is available on the school campus. Food trucks, pizza, hot dogs and snack foods will be available for purchase.
