Do You Have What It Takes To Be A City Of Manvel Councilmember??
As some might not know, the mayor and council’s positions are all non-compensated. They generously donate their time to try to make the city better. They hold their seats for 3 years term and can do no more than 3 terms in a row. The main commitment is 2 city council meetings per month and of course, having knowledge of the issues affecting the city. It is a very important duty and if you feel you have what it takes, go ahead and file the paperwork. Yesterday was the first day to submit the paperwork and it ends on February 14th at 5:00 pm. The positions available are as follow: Mayor, Council Place no 3 and Council Place no 5. The general election is on May 2nd, 2020. Do you have what it takes?? Do you want to be part of shaping the future of the city?
