Rosharon 8th Grade Student Won Popular Vote In National Contest

When Marcus Lewis Jr wrote the text about the importance of a free press in a free society he did not have any expectations. The National Student Essay Competition asked for students ranging from 6th grade to college to write a 500 words essay about the importance of the freedom of the press in regards to our First Amendment in the US constitution.
