Manvel HEB Update

Most of you, like us, have been wondering about the day we will see dirt start being moved around for the long-awaited Manvel Town Center and its flagship store HEB. Well, just like everybody else, the developer has been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Retailers were busy solidifying the current assets and not focusing on growth as much. Now, it seems the project is getting back on track. That was the good news. The bad news is nothing meaningful, or at least visible with our eyes, will be started until June 2021. The reason??? Simple, it’s $$$. They need more tenants to commit and sign a lease agreement. Do you think they will really start in 9 months??
