City Of Manvel Looking For Volunteers. Come Make A Difference.

Did you know that the City is looking for volunteers to occupy roles in several boards?? There are positions on the Planning Development and Zoning Commission (PDZC) and also the Manvel Economic Development Corporation (MEDC). Both boards have distinct requirements like for the PDZC you need to be a resident of Manvel. The MEDC allows you to join if you live within 3 miles of the City. They both meet once to twice a month for 1-2 hours each time. Some studying is required in between meetings so you get to know the issues in front of each board. You always wanted to be involved with your community but don’t feel like running an electoral campaign for City Council?? This is your opportunity to do something and be part of the future.
